Happy Little Stampers - December Challenge

Hello Everyone!
I'm back with this month's Christmas card for the Happy Little Stampers - Christmas challenge. This month's theme is "Wreath".

http://www.happylittlestampers.com/2016/12/hls-december-christmas-challenge.html

The challenge is sponsored by :

 Lets see this week's card.

I started by die-cutting a few leaves from 2 different colored cardstock using Spellbinders die. The dry embossed a white card panel using Cuttlebug embossing folder. Then in the center of the white panel I arranged the die cut leaves in alternate order to form a wreath. When I like the look of it, I adhered it to the panel using glue. Then attached a few red colored enamel dots to make the illusion of berries. Finally heat embossed the sentiment and adhered it to the panel. Finished the card by attaching the panel on a red A2 sized card base.

I'm submitting this card to :

Drawn with Character

Let's have a look at the card now.

Here is a closeup of the texture on the blue side.

This is a whimsical card using the Firecracker from Drawn with Character. I have printed it on Strathmore - bristol paper twice, die-cut one with Sizzix circle die, fuzzy cut the 2nd image with scissors & colored it with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens (colors mentioned in supply list). I mounted the fuzzy cut image exactly on the other image which is on the circle die-cut using foam tape. For the background I have used a red shade patterned paper from Teressa Collins - Fabrication paper pad & the blue side is created by stenciling modelling paste using Tim Holtz stencil and spritzing with Dylusions ink. The sentiment is created using Sticko - Mini Black letters stickers. Finally added finishing touches using few rhinestones.

I hope you all liked my card. I would love to hear back from you all. Thank you very much for taking your time to notice it. Hope to hear again from all of  u soon. Till then take care. :)

Embossing Folder Stamping

Hey Everyone!
Thanks for stopping by here. Today I have a card to share which I am linking to Happy Little Stampers - February CAS Challenge. This month the challenge is to use embossing folder to do the stamping.

So lets have a look at my card.

I followed this tutorial to understand the Embossing folder stamping. I used Cuttlebug - Birds & Swirls embossing folder along with Distress Ink minis (colors mentioned in auuply list) on a cream card stock. I directly applied Distress Ink ink pad to the embossing folder, then spritzed it with a bit of water and stamped it on the card stock. Then die cut it into a tag using Momenta ArtC - Thanks set. To keep it simple, just added a sticker flower embellisgment & MFT - Dienamics Leafy Flourish diecut . The sentiment in stamped on a kraft cardstock using Fiskars - Sincer Salutations stamp set. Finally I mounted the entire arrangement on Kraft carstock panel using foam tape & completed the card by mounting the kraft card panel on cream card base.

January Mixed Media Page

Hello Everyone!
If you got a chance to have a glance at my 2016 goals, I have decided to work on more non-card projects this year. So here I'm with my 1st installment of it.

Here is my art journaling

Here are a few closeup shots as well.

Lot of my style is similar to Vicky. This is a new art journal from the Ranger ink - Dylusions line. To start off with, I used Time Holtz tissue paper for background. Then applied some gesso to mellow down the effect and later colored it with acrylic paints (color listed in supplies). I stamped 2 butterflies on watercolor paper, pained them, fuzzy cut them and pasted them on the color background. Then stamped the focal sentiment and the floral design using Dylusions stamps (mentioned in supplies list).  All of my journaling materials is listed in the supply list). I have added a hint of stenciling on the top let corner using Dylusions - Floral Flourish. Finally to add finishing touch, sprinkled some diluted gesso using a small brush and added smaller size butterfly stickers on the pages.

Did you all like it? I would love to hear back from you all. Thank you very much for taking your time to notice it. Hope to hear again from all of  u soon. Till then take care. :)
