7 Days of Christmas - Day 3

Hello Everyone!!!
Today I am back with Day 3 of my Christmas card inspiration. If you have just dropped in, have a look at my other Christmas cards here.

Now let's have a look at today's card.

This is one of the simplest & also my favorite technique to create quick cards. I just created the entire card panel by stamping various  Christmas themed stamps in Versamark ink & heat embossed in gold.

I hope you all liked it. I would love to hear back from you all. Thank you very much for taking your time to notice it. Hope to hear again from all of  u soon. Till then take care. :)

PS: If my posts inspire you to create something on similar lines, I feel highly flattered. But please, do respect the effort I take in conceptualizing and executing, please give a direct link to my work when you are inspired by mine. Thanks for understanding :-)

7 Days of Christmas - Day 1

Hello Everyone!!!

With the holiday season just around the corner, everyone must be really in hurry to finish off all the card making and post the card off to your loved ones. But then there is always someone that gets left out or you need more last minute cards or gift tags for someone. So this year I am going to post a few easy Christmas / Holiday themed projects which can help you get through the holiday season.

You can view all my past Christmas cards ideas here.

So lets have a look at today's card.

This is a super easy project. here is how I created it.

  1. I started by gold embossing the background on white cardstock.
  2. Then I gold embossed a poinsettia image on bristol cardstock and colored it with watercolor.
  3. I cut out the poinsettia , attached to the center of the background using foam tape.
  4. Added accent colors on the background, attached a few pearls to the background.
  5. Finally stamped & gold embossed sentiment, attached it below the poinsettia using glue.
  6. Finished the card by attaching the white card panel on a A2 sized maroon card base.
I am submitting this card to :
  1. Simon Says Stamp - Monday Challenge - Christmas / Winter Holidays

Happy Little Stampers - March Challenge

Hello Everyone!

I'm back with this month's Christmas card for the Happy Little Stampers - Christmas challenge. This month's theme is "Star".

The challenge is sponsored by :

I was inspired to create 2 cards using this month's theme. Lets see the cards

I created 2 cards this month. I used Laura Bassen's famous "Ink Smooshing" technique to create the card backgrounds. For the 1st card I used the Distress inks in various shades of blues to create the background and for the 2nd card I have used Dr. Ph Matrins Hydrus inks in blue, pink & voilet. Then heat embossed stars on the background and stamped the sentiment as well. Finally embellished the cards using stars & sequins. Adhered the card panels on cards bases and I was done. Simple!

I am submitting these cards to following challenges:
I hope you all liked my card.

10 Days of Christmas - Day 4

Hello Everyone!!!

I'm back again today with Day 4 of the 10 Days of Christmas. My apologizes for yesterday's gap. If you have dropped in all of my previous Christmas cards can be found here.

Today I have 2 cards for you. I have CAS-ed this card exactly as Kristina Werner showed in her Holiday Card Series 2015 - Day 19. This is a really simple and easy card pattern to recreate and that's why I love it so much. I had CAS-ed it here last year too. This year I have embellished it a little differently and used washi tape to create the tree shapes instead of the Painter's taper that Kristina used.. Let me know what you guys think?

Let's have a look at the cards now.
