Mom's Birthday Card

Hello Everyone!
Today I'm here with a very special post. Today is my dearest mom's birthday. I call here "Aai" (Marathi translation for Mom). She is the best mother in this whole world. She is kind, loving, understanding and very nice. She is always a great support and guides me well in life. Thank you Aai for being my mother. I love you. May you be blessed with good health and loads of happiness in years to come.

Here is your card! Aai I hope you like the card.

On this card I went for a Clean & Simple (CAS) look. I created the ombre background using Distress ink minis (colors mentioned in supplies) and ink blending tool. Then placing a floral stencil on the background, spritzed some water on it using a spray bottle. Due to the reactive properties of Distress, some of the color came off with the water creating a subtle floral background effect on the colors. On a tag, stamped a rose flower from the Inkadinkado Clear Stamps - Doodle Flowers set using Papertrey Dye Inks (colors mentioned in supplies). Later colored in the image using watercolor brush and lighter ink shades from the same brand. Also stamped the birthday sentiment using Verve Stamps - Birthday to You Plain Jane. Finally added DMC - gold tassel to the tag and adhered it to the background panel using foam tape, rounded corners of the panel and attached the entire panel on a white card base. Also rounded outside corners of the card base to match.

Did you all like it? I would love to hear back from you all. Thank you very much for taking your time to notice it. Hope to hear again from all of  u soon. Till then take care. :)
