This hop is put together by Justine Hovey, so please do visit her blog for more information. With all the chaos that is going on all over the world related to racism, we all paper crafters, card makers & mixed media artist are coming together to showcase over support to the cause. 7 Days of Christmas - Day 1

Hello Everyone!!!

With the holiday season just around the corner, everyone must be really in hurry to finish off all the card making and post the card off to your loved ones. But then there is always someone that gets left out or you need more last minute cards or gift tags for someone. So this year I am going to post a few easy Christmas / Holiday themed projects which can help you get through the holiday season.

So lets have a look at today's card.

This is a super easy project. here is how I created it.

1. I started by gold embossing the background on white cardstock. 
2. Then I gold embossed a poinsettia image on bristol cardstock and colored it with watercolor.
3. I cut out the poinsettia , attached to the center of the background using foam tape.
4. Added accent colors on the background, attached a few pearls to the background.
5. Finally stamped & gold embossed sentiment, attached it below the poinsettia using glue.
6. Finished the card by attaching the white card panel on a A2 sized maroon card base.

When I first saw the image the only colors that came to my mind were blue & green. So I colored the image in shades of blue & green using Prismacolor pencils.

Diwali Card - Day 4

Hello Everyone!!!
Today I'm back again with Diwali theme cards. If you have just dropped all my Diwali cards here.   

Lets have a look at the card.

I started off by stamping the Diya image from Verve Stamps - Light My World set on Strathmore - Bristol paper, fuzzy cut & watercolored it using Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens. Then on a beige card base stamped the large medaliion from Verve Stamps - Peaceful Medallions set in the center. Also stamped borders using stamp from Altenew - Hennah elements. Finally stamped the sentiment as well and pasted the Diya in the center of the medaliion. Embellished using timy pearls around the medallion image. Lastly adhered the entire panel to a red card base.
