Out came the frustration....

Hello Everyone!
I know that, I disappeared again. I have been working really hard on my job applications.... No luck yet, but I'm sure something is going to turn positive very soon. Well, enough of my bragging... Today's post is to show you something that I created last Friday, but before you can see what I made, I would like to tell you the story behind its creation.

Last Friday wasn't so good at work , so I came home all frustrated & wanted to pent it out somewhere. I tried working out for 30 minutes but it did not help. Then I freshened up & sat with my journal in lap. I stared at the empty page, but did not know what to make. Just imagine, I'm already having a bad day & then zero inspiration. I even went thru a few pin on Pinterest, but no.... nothing.... nada...... I was about to give up & go to sleep, when I remembered that I had bought some generic acrylic paint bottles from Walmart long back & did not get to use it. So I decided that whatever..... lets just check out how these colors work, so I randomly picked a sea green color from the colors I have & painted the entire page in it. After 2 coats of paint I liked the coverage. Then I stenciled butterflies on it in white, which I regretted immediately after, so I painted them colorful. Now I added flowers to it, random colors, colored in leaves & grass & went ahead to tweak to butterflies more using metallic & neon gel pens. The entire thing that came out of it looked good. But there was some empty space which made it look incomplete.

After giving it a long look of 5 minutes, I made up my mind to fill that space with a beautiful quote. I keep a list of quotes in a separate book. It must be having at least 100 quotes, which I knew would overwhelm me, hence I decided to take a little leap of faith & pick a random quote closing my eyes.I know what you all are thinking, even I felt childish doing this, but I did it even then. Closed my eyes & placed my finger in a quote & opened my eyes. When I saw the quote I selected, I was amazed, so I immediately wrote it down beautifully. You must be like what was the quote, so... I'm not gonna tell you here. You can have a look for yourself below.

You see what I meant, I was frustrated, had no inspiration, did everything randomly & see how Luck pointed me towards Faith. Since this day I feel that my faith is newly revised & I feel that finally its all going to work out for me.

Hope after reading this you too keep faith in yourself & push harder towards your goals. Let me know if you all liked it. Also you can post back if you get some inspiration to run free & create something new. I  would love to see what you have create & hear back from you all. Thank you very much for taking your time to notice it. Hope to hear again from all of  u soon. Till then take care. :)

A Girl has to be .....

Hello everyone!

A few days back I was on Pinterest & I came across a beautiful quote by Coco Chanel. It was " A girl has to be 2 things, Classy & Fabulous." I liked it so much that I wanted to write it down. So i wrote it down, but in my style..... Have a look at the process if its creation.

First thing was I needed a beautiful girl, which I found here. I used it & added my quote along with it. The sketch looked well, so I decided to ink it.

I was so tempted to fill her with colors all over. I even asked to suggestions from friends & family. Got various different comments. Finally I did something like this.....

I think she is beautiful. Did you all like here. I would love to hear back from you all. Thank you very much for taking your time to notice it. Hope to hear again from all of  u soon. Till then take care. :)

Today I have a beautiful Zentangle I have created. Here it is.....

This is an image of Lord Ganesha. He is believed to be god of knowledge & art. I loved the way the entire thing came out to be.... I found inspiration for this art from Dilip Patel.  He has some beautiful artwork at his blog. Would love to see what you can create. Thank you very much for taking your time to notice it. Words to live by....

Hello Everyone!

I have been feeling low lately.... So I needed some reminder for myself. What could be a better way to inspire yourrself, than putting your thoughts down on paper...

As you all know I hate writing, & I'm always short at words, so I just wrote down what I meant in 1 word each time. Here is my process......
When I completed inking my rough draft.... it felt beautiful by itself... but I needed more, so I decided to add a bit of color to it....

Once I added these bold colors my true inspiration, the words seem to be hidden. Finding them was more important, so I went in & made them bold....

I loved the way the entire thing came out to be.... I found inspiration for this art from Lindsay Ostrom.  She has some beautiful artwork at her blog. So what are the words that inspire you...???  Would love to see what you can create. Thank you very much for taking your time to notice it. Hope to hear again from all of  u soon. Till then take care. :)
