10 Days of Christmas - Day 4

Hello Everyone!!!

I'm back again today with Day 4 of the 10 Days of Christmas. My apologizes for yesterday's gap. If you have dropped in all of my previous Christmas cards can be found here.

Today I have 2 cards for you. I have CAS-ed this card exactly as Kristina Werner showed in her Holiday Card Series 2015 - Day 19. This is a really simple and easy card pattern to recreate and that's why I love it so much. I had CAS-ed it here last year too. This year I have embellished it a little differently and used washi tape to create the tree shapes instead of the Painter's taper that Kristina used.. Let me know what you guys think?

Let's have a look at the cards now.

Happy Little Stampers - December Challenge

Hello Everyone!
I'm back with this month's Christmas card for the Happy Little Stampers - Christmas challenge. This month's theme is "Wreath".

http://www.happylittlestampers.com/2016/12/hls-december-christmas-challenge.html

The challenge is sponsored by :

 Lets see this week's card.

I started by die-cutting a few leaves from 2 different colored cardstock using Spellbinders die. The dry embossed a white card panel using Cuttlebug embossing folder. Then in the center of the white panel I arranged the die cut leaves in alternate order to form a wreath. When I like the look of it, I adhered it to the panel using glue. Then attached a few red colored enamel dots to make the illusion of berries. Finally heat embossed the sentiment and adhered it to the panel. Finished the card by attaching the panel on a red A2 sized card base.

I'm submitting this card to :

Happy Little Stampers - New Release Bloghop

Hello Everyone!!!
Today I'd like to welcome you to the Happy Little Stampers blog hop to celebrate the release of six new fabulous stamp sets.

Me and my fellow Design Team member will be sharing their projects using these new stamp sets and to be in with a chance of winning a fabulous prize of a $50 gift certificate to the Happy Little Stampers Shop. All you have to do is join in the hop and comment along the way.  A winner will be chosen at random from all the comments left.  The hop will run for one week, finishing at 12pm AEST on 28 November 2016.

My card for today's blog hop is using the Christmas Joy stamp set which I designed for HLS. Let's have a look at the card.

I started off with a A2 sized card panel of Strathmore Bristol cardstock and stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink and gold embossed it. Them I then stamped and heat embossed the poinsettias in opposite corners in Versamark ink and white embossed it. I masked the poinsettias in the center so that they appear in a cluster. I then colored the images with Winsor Newton watercolors and blended with water.  I added a little shading around the images using grey color Zig Clean Color Brush pen just to add some interest.  I then attached the entire card panel on brown A2 size top folding card panel using foam tap. Finally I added gold Stickles to the centers of the poinsettia's and created a ffew stars around the sentiment.

If you want to view other card inspirations and participate in bloghop then the links are mentioned below:

If you start somewhere else in the list other than the beginning, don't despair! All our designers will have the list on their personal blogs so we make sure you won't miss a thing.

I hope you all liked my card. I would love to hear back from you all. Thank you very much for taking your time to notice it. Hope to hear again from all of  u soon. Till then take care. :)
