Quilling card

Had an incomplete quilling done on a simple A4 size paper. Just added the butterflies & pasted it on a cardstock & there is our greeting card.

Quilling B'day card

After many days had a chance 2 do real quilling. It was fun. This time again it was an ocassion. It was my friend Sowmya's boss b'day. I helped here in this 1st attempt of hers towards quilling. For me it was fun becoz 1st time I worked in a team on a quilling project. Got new ideas from her & a new perspective 2 look at quilling & towards the designs & patterns of quilling.

The final outcome was awesome!!! I n Sowmya obviously like it but I felt happy when her boss loved it.

I enhanced the Graduation Card

I made that card because I wanted to wish all my friends for their future, but didn't feel that its complete. Always when I saw it I felt like something is missing......

So as soon as I got some good hard paper I amended it & now I think its complete........

Graduation Card

Its the Graduation day for many of my friends & I wanted to wish each of those who are speacial to me. So this is a Graduation card for all my friends who are graduating this year.

Another Quilling class

Few days back when I showed my room-mate Sowmya few sample quilling arts available on internet, she was so desperate 2 try something so as soon as I ordered some quilling stuff we started off with this flower. It came out to be good so we went further & created a corner piece. Sowmya was so delighted when it finally came to finish.

A sweet gift for Mom's b'day...

This is my last year's B'day gift to my mom. it was my first attempt of Quilling & i thought why not make it more special by presenting it to mom.. And she too loved it.

उगाच घरी बसलो....

काल दिवसभर सगळीकडे एकाच खबर होती की "उद्या म्हणे Snowstorm येणार आहे". या बातमीमुळे इतका गोंधळ की कॉलेज नी सुद्धा सुट्टी declare केली. म्हणे पहाटे पासूनच बर्फ पडणार वगैरे वगैरे.....

सकाळी ७ वाजता जाग आली म्हणून खिडकी उघडून पहिला तर पचकाच झाला सगळा. बर्फ तर सोडाच, पण साधं बर्फाच sample सुद्धा नव्हत..... असा राग आला की मी पुन्हा comforter डोक्यावरून घेउन झोपले.

सकाळी पडणार होता तो बर्फ दुपारी १:३० नंतर हळू-हळू सुरु झाला. आता संध्याकाळचे ६ वाजले आहेत आणि फक्त रस्ता पांढरा होईल इतका बर्फ पडला आहे. या सगळ्या गोंधळात कॉलेज ला सुट्टी होती पण त्यामुळे इतरही सारी कामं अडून बसली.

आज तर काही Snowstorm वगैरे नाही आला, आता म्हणे उद्या येणार आहे. म्हणजे उद्याचे सुद्धा सारे कार्येक्रम तांगणीवर......

आता तरी एकाच गाणे आठवत आहे --

"सांग सांग भोलानाथ बर्फ पडेल का?

कॉलेज भोवती बर्फाचे तळे साचून सुट्टी मिळेल काय?

सांग सांग भोलानाथ.........."

महाराष्‍ट्र.....

अजुनही बोथट झाली नाही धार शिवबाच्या तलवारीची,
कुणाचीही हिम्मत नाही मराठयांना संपवण्याची,
घासल्याशिवाय धार नाही तलवारीच्या पातीला,
'मराठा' शिवाय पर्याय नाही महाराष्‍ट्राच्या मातीला !!!
