Diwali Card - Day 5

Hello Everyone!!!
Today I'm back with this year's 5th Diwali themed card. My apologies for taking a break yesterday. If you have just dropped all my Diwali cards here.
Lets have a look at the card.

This card is again inspired by the Rangoli designs. Usually the rangoli's are circular in pattern. For both the cards I  started off by stamping a big central flowers from the Lil' Inker Designs - Modern Mehndi set in the left bottom corner on Strathmore - Bristol paper. Then using various leaf, floral & mandala shaped images from different stamp sets formed circular pattern around the 1st stamp image. Finally I stamped the sentiments and added some bling on the centers of each shape in the Rangolis. Finished the card by mounting the card panel on colored card bases using foam tape.

Diwali Card - Day 4

Hello Everyone!!!
Today I'm back again with Diwali theme cards. If you have just dropped all my Diwali cards here.

Lets have a look at the card.

I started off by stamping the Diya image from Verve Stamps - Light My World set on Strathmore - Bristol paper, fuzzy cut & watercolored it using Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens. Then on a beige card base stamped the large medaliion from Verve Stamps - Peaceful Medallions set in the center. Also stamped borders using stamp from Altenew - Hennah elements. Finally stamped the sentiment as well and pasted the Diya in the center of the medaliion. Embellished using timy pearls around the medallion image. Lastly adhered the entire panel to a red card base.

Diwali Card - Day 3

Hello Everyone!!!
Today I'm back again with my 3rd installment for Diwali theme cards. If you have just dropped all my Diwali cards here.
Lets have a look at the cards.

These cards are square in shape and very simple to make. Diwali is not just about lights, its also about "Rangoli". Ladies after doing their morning rituals and getting dressed make various designs in front of the main entrance of the house which is known as Rangoli. Today's cards are inspired by the various patterns from the Rangoli designs (You can find many rangoli designs here).

I gathered the various mandala & leaf shaped stamps from my collection to come up with this idea. The center mandala stamps are from Verve Stamps - Peaceful Medallions and the green leaf patterned stamp is from Lil' Inker Designs - Modern Mehndi set. I stamped the design on the top corner of Strathmore - bristol paper, then stamped the sentiment from Verve Stamps - Light My World in botton right corner. Next I adhered the white card panel to the square shaped card base using foam tape. Finally finished the card by adding a few colorful rhinestones.

Diwali Card - Day 2

Hello Everyone!!!

Today I'm back again with my 2nd installment for Diwali theme card. If you have just dropped all my Diwali cards here.

Lets have a look at the cards.

I created 2 different cards using same concept. On a beige card panel I stamped the "Diya" image & sentiment from the Verve Stamps - Light My World stamp set. Also stamped the border using Altenew - Hennah elements. Colored the Diya using Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens. Next step is to die-cut the panel using border dies from Memory Box & Stampendous. On a red card panel I stamped a background using floral stamps from Altenew - Hennah elements & Lil' Inker Designs - Modern Mehendi. Finally I adhered both the panels on a kraft card base. Finally added Ranger Ink - Glossy Accents to the flame on the Diya & rhinestones to the floral center on the red card base.

Let's have a look at the card now.

Here is a closeup of the texture on the blue side.

This is a whimsical card using the Firecracker from Drawn with Character. I have printed it on Strathmore - bristol paper twice, die-cut one with Sizzix circle die, fuzzy cut the 2nd image with scissors & colored it with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens (colors mentioned in supply list). I mounted the fuzzy cut image exactly on the other image which is on the circle die-cut using foam tape. For the background I have used a red shade patterned paper from Teressa Collins - Fabrication paper pad & the blue side is created by stenciling modelling paste using Tim Holtz stencil and spritzing with Dylusions ink. The sentiment is created using Sticko - Mini Black letters stickers. Finally added finishing touches using few rhinestones.

I hope you all liked my card. I would love to hear back from you all. Thank you very much for taking your time to notice it. Hope to hear again from all of  u soon. Till then take care. :)
