A Beautiful Mess #3

Hello Everyone!!!

It's again that time at of the month where I share my card for the A Beautiful Mess blog challenge. A Beautiful mess is an Anything Goes challenge.

This month's sponsors are Delicious Doodles SheepSki Design.

Here is my card. I used a beautiful Peacock image by Delicious Doodles as the focal point of the card.

I water colored the image using Koi watercolors & Winsor and Newton round brushes. For the background I did a lot of ink blending using various Distress ink pad minis (colors mentioned in supply list). Then sprayed water through the Tim Holtz - Gothic Stencil. The water pulled out some color from the background. Finally I adhered the background to a card base & attached the peacock image on the colored background using foam tape. Lastly I stamped the sentiment in the right corner using Versafine ink & added a few golden sequins to add interest.

I will be submitting this card to Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - Wishing Theme and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Anything goes.

So come and join us as this is a month long challenge. You will have ample of time for your creative juices to flow. You can also find rest of the Design Team inspiration and also the Challenge Rules HERE. Hope you will play along for a chance to win the prize from the sponsors !
