Sketch Saturday #401

Hello Everyone!

I'm back for this week's card for the Sketch Saturday #401. The sketch I followed this week is mentioned below:
This week' sponsor's are Bugaboo Stamps

Bugaboo Stamps

Finally here is my card.

I started off by printing the Bugaboo Brat Boy Balloon image on Strathmore 300 series watercolor paper, water-colored it using Faber Castell watercolor pencils & water. To create the blue panel, directly applied Distress ink - Faded jeans directly to white card-stock & spritzed it with water through Dylusions stencil - Circles. The sea-green panel is from Teresa Colins - Fabrication collection. The script pattern paper on the card base is from DCWV - The Maps, Text and Ledgers stack. Stamped the Verve Stamps - Birthday to You Plain Jane on a simple tag I bought from Staples store. To add finishing touches attached the sentiment to the blue panel using cord.

You can also find rest of the Design Team inspiration and also the Challenge Rules HERE. We hope you will play along for a chance to win the prize from Simon Says Stamps !

I hope you all liked my card. I would love to hear back from you all. Thank you very much for taking your time to notice it. Hope to hear again from all of  u soon. Till then take care. :)

PS: If my posts inspire you to create something on similar lines, I feel highly flattered. But please, do respect the effort I take in conceptualizing and executing, please give a direct link to my work when you are inspired by mine. Thanks for understanding :-)

Pretty in Pink Birthday

Hello Everyone!
Today I have a simple & elegant card for you all. The sketch inspiration is from Mojo Monday #435 & color inspiration is from Fusion Card.

http://fusioncardchallenge.blogspot.com/2016/02/fusion-pretty-in-pink.html

 Here is my card

I started off by cutting 2 panels of pink card-stock (2.75 x 4.75 inches), taped it to Simon Says Stamp - Trellis Grate stencil & blending Distress ink - Spun sugar. Adhered these 2 panels to slight bigger white panels. Later taped both the panels to grey card-stock and pasted the entire thing on white card base (5 x 7 inches). Stamped the sentiment from Stampendous -  Birthday Wish set using Distress ink - Chipped sapphire on white card-stock. Die cut a navy blue card-stock using Spellbinders - Fleur De Lis Squares and adhered the sentiment panel to it. Using foam tape attached the sentiment panel to main card base. Finally to add finishing touch punched out butterflies using Marth Stewart puch and adhered it near the sentiment.

I'm submitting this card to Mojo Monday #435 & Fusion Card - Pretty in Pink.

I hope you all liked it. I would love to hear back from you all. Thank you very much for taking your time to notice it. Hope to hear again from all of  u soon. Till then take care. :)
